Create and configure tasks
Tasks are one of the key tools in the Telematic.Pro system. Tasks manage the automatic creation of content and its publication in your Telegram channel. With their help, you can set up your channel to update itself on a predefined schedule.
Types of Tasks
There are two types of tasks in the system:
1. Source Trigger Tasks
These tasks are responsible for regularly checking your content sources. They monitor new publications, parse them or process them via AI, and then create drafts or approved posts in the system.
2. Post Publishing Tasks
These tasks take the created (approved) posts and publish them to your channel according to a schedule. You can set up fully automated publishing or restrict it to specific time slots — for example, only during daytime hours.
Why Tasks are Convenient
- Full automation. Set the rules once, and your content will be created and published automatically.
- Precise timing. Posts can be scheduled for specific hours and time intervals.
- Flexible management. Tasks can be paused or reactivated at any time.
- Launch history control. Every task has a full history log, showing whether it ran successfully or encountered errors.
Setting Up Tasks
Step 1. Creating a Task
Open the "Tasks" tab in your channel management panel and select the task type: source trigger or post publishing. Set the parameters:
- Frequency of execution
- Time range
Step 2. Schedule Configuration
Each task can have a flexible schedule:
- Every 5 minutes, 10 minutes, hourly — any regular interval
- Specific hours — for example, from 9:00 to 19:00
Step 3. Task Management
- Tasks can be manually enabled or disabled.
- Each task has a manual trigger button — useful for testing.
Monitoring and Diagnostics
Each task has a launch history — a log that shows:
- When the task was executed
- What it did — created a post, published a post, or failed
- If an error occurred, the error message will be shown immediately (for example, source connection failed or configuration error)
Why You Need This
Tasks allow you to build a fully autonomous content management system for your Telegram channel. Instead of manual work, you create rules — and Telematic.Pro handles everything else: checking sources, creating posts, and publishing them on schedule.
Example Workflow with Tasks
- Every 15 minutes, the system checks news on your website (source trigger task).
- If new articles are found, they are processed and saved either as drafts or directly as approved posts (depending on the source settings).
- Between 9:00 and 18:00, the system publishes one approved post every 2 hours (post publishing task).
- If you want to review or edit posts before they go live, simply disable automatic approval for the source and manually review each draft before publishing.
